Nicola Noble
RollerFitness instructor | Level 1 skate instructor | Wakefield, England
“Skating has had a huge positive impact on my mental health — giving me space to switch off, reset, and feel free. I want everyone to experience that.”
I started skating in 2022 alongside one of my daughters, and from the very first session I caught the skate bug. What began as something fun to do together quickly became so much more — skating has had a huge positive impact on my mental health, giving me space to switch off, reset, and feel free.
Since then, I've gone on to qualify as a RollerFitness instructor and complete my Level 1 roller skate instructor course. I've fallen in love not just with skating itself, but with the incredible sense of community that comes with it.
Now I teach roller fitness classes at Gameface, the gym space I run with my partner in Wakefield. It's been amazing to introduce so many new people to skating — helping them build confidence, get moving, and experience that same freedom and headspace that skating has given me.
