Three levels.
Real progression.
Each level has its own set of skating skills, fitness drills and challenges. Children earn a printable badge and certificate as they complete each one — turning sessions into a structured journey.
Bronze Level
The starting point. Building confidence on skates, mastering balance, basic stops and forward rolls — the essential foundation every young skater needs.
Silver Level
Develop control and technique. Children move on to backwards rolling, turns, weaving exercises and starting to combine fitness moves with skating skills.
Gold Level
The advanced finish. Confident skating, dynamic fitness drills, more challenging combinations and the ability to lead simple sequences with control and flow.
Real exercises & drills
kids genuinely enjoy.
A taste of what the RollerKids™ programme covers — every exercise is tailored to age and ability, mixing fitness and fun in equal measure.
Cone weave drill
Set up a line of cones at one-metre intervals. Kids weave through them, building edge control, hip rotation and confidence at low speed.
Plow stop practice
The essential safety stop. Drop hips, push body weight outwards, angle skates inward — kids master controlled stopping before anything else.
Squat & roll
Push off into a roll, drop into a low squat while moving, return to standing. Builds quad strength, balance and dynamic control.
Backwards rolling
The skill that levels kids up. Wiggle-step technique, hip alignment and gentle backwards momentum, taught progressively until confident.
Skate sequence
Combine three skills into a flowing sequence — for example, weave, squat, turn. Builds memory, sequencing and athletic flow.
Cardio interval circuit
A timed circuit alternating high-intensity skating with rest. Builds heart-rate variability and stamina — and kids love the timer challenge.

Common questions
about RollerKids™.
Everything you need to know before you buy — from the format to age suitability.
Do I need to be a certified instructor to buy this?
No certification required. RollerKids™ is available to anyone — fitness professionals, schools, after-school clubs, skate coaches and even parents teaching their own children.
Existing RollerFitness™ certified instructors can plug it into their professional offering; new buyers can use it as a complete standalone resource.
What format are the resources in?
Everything is delivered as digital PDFs in a single downloadable folder. The progress card, certificates and badges all come print-ready, plus you'll get RollerFitness Kids logo files for use in your own materials.
You'll receive instant access immediately after checkout.
Is this suitable for school PE lessons?
Yes — the RollerKids™ programme is well-suited to school PE programmes, after-school clubs and SEN settings. The three-level structure works across primary and secondary year groups, and the Bronze/Silver/Gold pathway gives clear teaching progression.
You'll need to source children's roller skates and full safety gear (helmet, knee pads, elbow pads, wrist guards) for participants.
What's the difference between RollerKids and RollerTots?
RollerTots™ (£49) is for ages 2–5 and focuses on early-years movement, EYFS-aligned activities, character development through play, and the Rainbow Wheel Awards.
RollerKids™ (£19) is for ages 6–16 and focuses on structured skating skills, fitness drills and progression through three award levels.
Many instructors buy both to cover the full age range from 2 to 16.
